Demo account
A demo account mirrors the live platform with fictional balance. It is the right place to verify mechanics: that the EA installs, trades, sizes positions, and behaves as documented — all without financial consequence.
Demos flatter execution: fills are cleaner and slippage kinder than live conditions, and trading fake money removes the psychology. Treat demo results as an upper bound on live behavior, then confirm with small real size.
Covered in depth in Lesson 11: Demo and live are not the same game.
