Algo Trading School is a free, plain-language curriculum on algorithmic trading. It exists because most of what beginners encounter on this topic is either marketing dressed up as education, or genuine expertise written in a way no beginner can use.
The lessons here cover the operational fundamentals: what automated strategies actually are, how the MetaTrader 5 platform works, how position sizing and drawdown mathematics govern survival, how to test strategies honestly, and how to evaluate brokers. Nothing on this site tells you what to trade, predicts markets, or promises returns.
Who writes this
This site is published by the team behind AL-ai-FX, a company that builds automated trading software for MetaTrader 5. That connection is disclosed here deliberately: we build the kind of tools these lessons teach you to evaluate, and we would rather you evaluate all such tools — including ours — with the skepticism this curriculum teaches.
The educational content on this site stands on its own. Every lesson applies equally whether you build strategies yourself, buy them from anyone, or conclude that automated trading is not for you — which, for many people, is the correct conclusion.
